Happy Thanksgiving, a time that we set aside to give thanks and express gratitude in the US. Expressing gratitude and being thankful is top of mind and we celebrate by inviting friends and family over for dinner. A huge part of the celebration is in the preparation of the food. I remember the joy of shopping for just the ‘right’ turkey, it had to be a certain weight and fresh, never frozen! Then finding just the most suitable ‘sides’ to make the dinner delicious and unforgettable. Making Thanksgiving dinner was a labor of love which I thoroughly enjoyed.
With much laughter, family and friends would gather around the table and the celebration would begin!
