Have you found that you’re becoming more forgetful, more stressed and less tolerant? Are you doing a ‘thousand’ things simultaneously? This myth of multitasking leads to forgetfulness. The mind isn’t really designed to focus on many things at once. One of the ways to be less forgetful is to focus on one thing at a time instead. When you focus on one thing at a time you’re giving clear directions to your mind and it rejoices because it’s no longer fighting with itself. Your mind desires for you to focus because inherently it knows that laser like focus on a project or idea will help you achieve your desired outcome sooner.
Focus is the difference between wondering what happened, and landing where you wanted to land. It’s the difference between having your home holiday ready or preparing an exquisite meal or enjoying the holiday parties or having delightful, peaceful conversations with family and friends.
Day 24 Make a list of ALL the things you intend to get done before the holidays. Don’t tell yourself that you don’t have time to make a list! Get it out of you head and on paper. Choose two things to focus on daily. Notice how you feel at the end of the day.
Thanks for the reminder. Have a wonderful weekend. I must now FOCUS!
