Have you been putting things off?  Putting things off—big or small—is part of being human.  Even though it’s only human to procrastinate if it’s beginning to trouble you then it’s time to change.

Baby boomer women are masters at putting off things that really matter to them because they’re busy fulfilling the needs of others.  It really doesn’t matter how your procrastination shows up; it matters that you recognize it and decide whether you want this to continue or change.  This is going to be one of the most powerful decisions you’ll ever make.

One of the best ways that I’ve found to eliminate/minimize procrastination is to write out my list of things to do prior to going to bed.  I also put the time that I’m going to work on each item.  This is an imperfect system but it helps me sleep (because I know what I’m going to do tomorrow), I get more done and I’m enjoying my tasks more.

Day 7 Write out your list prior to going to bed.  Do not overload the list.  Distinguish between urgent and important.  Allow some time for emergencies, incidentals and distractions.
