While breathing and rubbing your foot you begin to smile as you reflect on the glorious walk you just completed and begin to plan for your walk tomorrow.  As a boomer creating the life you dream about allows you to breathe and reflect.  As you progress you’ll discover new thoughts and a new way of being that totally supports you in living the life you desire.  You begin to think “finally after all of these years…”

Just when you think all is well, a detour pops up!  Now you have another choice and a decision to make.  Of course, you can ignore the detour and accept the consequences!  Or take the detour and experience the wonderful journey.

e2joyIsn’t life grand?  Now that you’ve worked for many years, a choice of retiring or continuing to work is presented.  What do you do?  Do you remember all of the times when you were on your way to or from work and ALL you could think about was “wait until I retire, I’ll.”  Now that the time is finally here, you’re experiencing trepidation and uncertainty.  You wonder if you can have ALL of the things you thought you wanted.

Of course you can!  Just remember, if you can think about it, you can create it.  Your opportunities to create the life you desire are virtually limitless.  Think of this new passage as if it is a road.  There are curves, some steep and some very gentle.  There might be potholes, detours, corners, and crossroads.  Look at each juncture as an opportunity to choose, then make a decision and follow through.

Some of the paths you take as you begin this new journey will lead to jubilation, happiness like you’ve never known.  On the other hand, some will lead to the greatest sadness you’ve ever known.  Some roads will lead to success others to disappointment.  The one most important thing to remember is that this is a journey and there are no guarantees.  Learn the lesson and move on to the next opportunity.

You have choices and decisions to make.  Choose wisely and decide.  Once the decision is made, you can keep it as it is, tweak it or discard and make a new one.

What choices are you making today that are different from yesterday? Are your choices leading you toward your goals?
