As boomer women we’ve been so busy taking care of everyone and everything that we’ve sometimes forgotten to take care of ourselves.  We’ve been working so hard at being selfless that we forget that it’s okay to be selfish.  Today is your day to be selfish.

42-15530325Focus on you and pamper yourself today.  You could treat yourself to a long, lazy, luxurious bath, or a 30 minute walk in the park, or listen to your favorite music, or sit quietly in your bedroom reading a delicious book with the aroma from scented candles floating as a backdrop around you.  Of course, you can think of many other ways to pamper yourself.

Remember this 45 Day Challenge is about uncovering, discovering, unleashing and just plain finding out who ‘you are really’!  Each day’s challenge asks you to think about something in a different way, to be aware each moment and ask yourself questions.  The challenges are designed to slowly move you to self awareness.

Day 16 Just for today, pay special attention to the little things you do that pampers you.  Make a conscious choice to be selfish and care for yourself first!
