On the Living Smart and Well Show yesterday I interviewed Dr. Tomas Picard author of Mental Housecleaning.  Dr. Picard’s theory is that “positive thinking doesn’t work”.  He engagingly takes the reader through a series of ‘stories’ to show why just simply thinking positive doesn’t work.

He contends in Mental Housecleaning that it is important to remove old beliefs, habits and attitudes prior to positive thinking working for you.

What do you think?  Have you had experiences where positive thinking worked or didn’t work?  Did you notice a difference in the actions and attitudes you took when it worked or when it didn’t work?

If you missed the show you can listen here.
